The history of Jesuits Church has more than 3 centuries. The tradition tells that it was build over the natal house of Saint Ildefonso, the city pattern.
Open to the worship in 1718, it has in its major chapel a fresh paint altarpiece, surrounded by columns and framework painted with perspective, the tecnique called "trampantojo".
Big baroque altarpieces in each side of the central hall, makes it a real museum of sculpture that tells about history of Jesus Company, present in the city during centuries.
Its enormous twin towers of more than 50 meters high, offer the visitor an unique experience: to enjoy the most priviledge view of the medieval city and the Cathedral.
